Pocket PC Phone Edition

Finally got a Siemens SX56 Pocket PC Phone Edition device - primarily to test, write code and document the specific features of the platform for the book (such as SMS, Phone API’s, etc). This will also give me an opportunity to see if I actually like the device, or if it falls into the same copy-cat category as so many of the recent devices do.
My first nit: No compact flash slot. Now I certainly like the device itself and I can see the need to go with a smaller secure digital slot for the form factor. That being said, it irks me that I can’t use my Socket 802.11b compact flash card, or the CF memory cards I have lying around.
