Another stupid patent. Yippee!
[The Register]: RIM granted handheld email patent for “Hand-held e-mail device with a keyboard optimized for use with the thumbs” and “a thumb wheel for controlling menus”. Yikes! This only describes EVERY PDA out there. Check out Patent No 6,452,588. And yes, RIM did wait 24 hours before sueing Handspring.
