RSS 2.0 discussions flare up.

Funny, it reminds me of a programming class back in 1989 I was in when two guys got into an argument over a pointer problem. They argued for a few minutes, then one just punched the other in the face out of nowhere.

Me? I have to agree with Brent Simmons: Lots of people want RSS to do lots of different things. That’s totally fine by me - but what I want from RSS is what is already supplies. Most items in most feeds have title, description, and link fields. That’s what I want.

Hear hear! In fact, im going to dump my 1.0 feed (don’t worry, no link changes) when I move over to MovableType in the next week or so. In fact, im going to use RSS Classic (that is, RSS 0.92).
