It’s been awhile since I’ve posted any updates about the book I’m working on, so here’s the latest:

Currently I’ve written 103 pages, totaling around 36,000 words. I have one more chapter to write regarding networking, and then I’ll be moving on to serial communications, infrared and the Pocket PC Connection Manager. Up to this point, I’ve covered every aspect inside and out of TCP/IP development, WinInet and the IPHelper API’s on Pocket PC 2002.

I have also decided to expand the last section of the book to cover more on the .NET Compact Framework for Pocket PC, as well as using SOAP outside of C#, since most Pocket PC developers are not going to use the runtime until it’s bundled directly on the devices.

Also, im officially a number now – the book’s ISBN number will be: 0321133528 (not yet found on Amazon, or anywhere else).
