Today marks the first day of my summer sabbatical from work. Writing a book after working 10-12 hours a day just doesn’t allow for much of a life, so we decided that taking a leave would allow me to concentrate full time on the new book. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some good hikes in, lots of .NET code written, more “blog” time, and a renewed focus when I return to work at the end of September.

Comments are also now officially “online”. Next to the date of each entry, I’ve added a “Comments?” link so that people can make remarks on anything I post. Not that anyone reads this site anyway’s

I don’t know if I’ve just been under a rock, but I finally discovered Think Geek. What a great site for the geek in your family to find neat toys and clothing, not to mention the awesome programmers beer mug.

Finally, it looks like Antelope Technologies are going to release a device based on the IBM MetaPad I mentioned awhile back.
