Well, lots of interesting news out of WinHEC on some new devices coming out real soon. First off, are 2 new killer Pocket PC devices based on the Intel XScale Processor.
Toshiba announced the Genio e550g: “The Genio e550G is powered by a 400MHz XScale processor, 64MB RAM, 32MB FlashROM, 240x320x16-bit color 4″ Transflective TFT Poly-Silicon display, Compact Flash Type II slot, and an SD/SDIO slot. The unit measures 76.5 x 125 x 15.9mm and weighs 170 grams.” Not to mention it has an extra large 4″ screen. More information at PDA Buzz. To me, this looks like the killer device.
Fujitsu announced the Pocket Loox. While this is also an XScale Pocket PC, the Toshiba form factor just looks better to me. Time will tell.
In other interesting news, Logitech has announced the “Pocket Digital“. It’s small enough to fit in your wallet, and is a full 1.3 megapixel digital camera with a USB connector.
